Success stories: IndeeLift

Today we want to present to you, one of our most recent success stories with the North American company IndeeLift, with a subsidiary in Barcelona.

During 2019, we started collaborating with IndeeLift to industrialize their autonomous mobility devices for people and caregivers, the “People Picker Upper”.

Until that time, they had successfully manufactured and marketed in the United States, Canada and Australia and their goal was to successfully internationalize their activity in Europe and Asia. For this reason, they were looking for a partner in Spain, with the capacity to adapt the equipment to the specifications and requirements of these markets.

Faced with this challenge, IndeeLift and Electrolomas started to collaborate for the realization of a prototype of IndeeLift’s classic Human Floor Lift HFL-300 for the home, with a capacity of up to 150kg, in which we bring our experience in component sourcing and industrialization.

With this project we are helping people with mobility difficulties – either due to age or handicap – to have autonomy, privacy and independence and to be able to get up/down from the floor. With IndeeLift, the patient can lift him/herself up without needing help from a second person.

Since 2020, we have been manufacturing the IndeeLift HFL-300 and in 2022 we will also start manufacturing the IndeeLift HFL-400-FTS for the European and Asian markets.

In this project, we also collaborate with some partners of the BCN Medicare Industrial Hub, in which we are constituent members. In the next post we will tell you more about this hub!
